Description
No. 19 on Main Street is a cottage that likely dates from the 18th century, featuring gable additions to both the north and south. The exterior is made of a plastered timber frame and painted brick, topped with a straw thatched roof. To the north, the roof is covered with plain tiles, and there are two gabled dormer windows with casement openings. The ground floor includes two horizontal sliding sash windows and one single light window. The entrance door is half-glazed and located in a lobby entry position. There is a ridge stack and a 19th-century side stack on the rear elevation, along with a brick outshut that may have served as a baking oven.
