Description
No. 65 on Stow Road is a 17th-century farmhouse with a plastered timber frame and plain tile roofs. It features end stacks made of local brick and stands two storeys high. Originally designed with a three-unit plan, one room to the west has been demolished. There is a 19th-century wing to the south and a lean-to on the left side of the street facade, which includes the main entrance with a boarded door. The building has two first-floor and two ground-floor windows of varying sizes, all with glazing bars. Inside, you will find stop-chamfered ceiling beams, a boxed beam, and an inglenook hearth in the south room.
