Description

A pair of cottages in Buckingham, dating from the 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. They are built of rendered material with slate roofs and have brick end and internal stacks. The cottages have a single-unit plan and two storeys with an attic, arranged in a three-window front. Modern doors are located to the far left and far right. Number 36, on the right side, has a 20th-century window to the ground floor and a pair of 12-pane sash windows to the first floor. Number 37, on the left side, features a 16-pane sash window to the ground floor, a 19th-century horned and quartered sash window to the first floor, and a gabled roof dormer window.
