Description

30 Nelson Street is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is rendered and features a slate roof with a brick stack on the left side. It has a two-unit plan and stands two stories tall with a two-window range. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door, which is accessed by one step and set within a moulded wood surround that has decorative paterae at the top angles and a shallow, straight hood above. To the right of the door is an 8-pane sash window, while to the left is a three-light casement window. The first floor has two-light casement windows. Inside, the house has chamfered spine beams.
