Description

The White Horse Inn is a public house, likely dating back to the 17th century or earlier, with subsequent alterations and additions. It is timber-framed and has been roughly rendered, with red plain tiled roofs. A red brick chimney stack is positioned off-centre to the right, with further stacks to the rear of the right and left wings. The building is two storeys with attics, and includes a single-storey left range. A 3-light casement with transom is visible on the left range's ground floor. The main range has a first floor with a double casement to the left and a single casement to the right, both 3-light casements with glazing bars and transoms, dating to the 18th century. The ground floor of the main range also has three 3-light casements from the 20th century. A reproduction door with nailed planks and muntins is located opposite the chimney stack. An attic window and a board door are present on the right return.
