Description
Ceduna and Cosy Nook are a pair of cottages that date back to the 17th century or earlier, with later alterations and additions. They are constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a red pantile roof that is hipped to the right. There are red brick chimney stacks on both the right and left sides. The cottages are one storey with attics and feature three gabled dormers that have plain tiled roofs, 19th or 20th century barge boards, and finials, as well as two-light casement windows with transoms. On the left side, there is a 20th century lean-to extension that includes three 20th century windows and a door. On the right side, there are four 19th century two-light casements with glazing bars. The gutter is supported by iron brackets. An oval plaque on the building indicates the date 1693. The rafter feet are square in section. The cottages are included for their group value. There was no internal inspection at the time of the re-survey.
