Description
Old Builders Yard is a house with a rear wing that likely dates from the 17th century, while the early 19th-century front has been extended by one bay to the left and features a date of 'CC 1872' at the apex of the gable. The building is constructed of colourwashed brick, topped with a roof of glazed black pantiles, and the rear wing is timber framed. It stands two storeys high and has two windows with small-paned sashes set in slightly inset frames, topped with segmental arches. To the right, there is an early 19th-century doorway featuring a doorcase with plain jambs, a moulded architrave with corner roundels, a frieze decorated with six-pointed stars, and a modillion cornice. The house has two stacks.
