Description
Glenmore and The Bakery are two dwellings, one of which includes a shop, dating from the 16th to 17th century with later alterations and additions, including a long wing at the rear. The buildings are timber framed and plastered, topped with a pantiled roof featuring glazed black tiles on the front slope. They are two storeys high and have a first-floor range of seven casement windows from the 18th and 19th centuries, one of which has square-leaded panes.
Glenmore features an early 19th-century doorway with a moulded architrave, corner roundels, and a cornice, along with a half-glazed door. To the left, there is a later 19th-century former shop window and doorway. The Bakery also has an early 19th-century doorway with a doorcase that includes corner circles and a pediment, leading to a half-glazed four-panel door. To the right, there is a late 19th or early 20th-century shopfront. The range extends to the right, including a carriage entrance to the rear. There is an internal stack with a tall plain shaft, but the interior has not been examined.
