Description
The stable block, located 20 meters southeast of The Old House, is a former stable that has been converted into a garage and store. It dates from the mid-18th century and was altered in the 20th century. The building is constructed of red and vitreous brick, featuring moulded brick eaves and a hipped roof covered with old tiles. A brick chimney with two square shafts set diagonally is present. The stable block is single-storey with nine small bays. The slightly projecting center has a shaped parapet with a shallow gable, a segmental arch that includes a stone keyblock and springers, and a circular panel above. There is a 20th-century door with flanking single lights. The remaining bays have 20th-century wooden casements in the former stable entrances. An additional bay to the right has a hipped roof and a board door.
