Description

Spider's Web is a Grade II listed house, originally a pair of cottages, dating from the 17th century and altered over time. The building features a timber frame with whitewashed brick infill, while the rear and right bays of the front have been rebuilt in whitewashed brick. The rear of the house has a rubble stone plinth. It has a thatched roof with an external brick chimney on the left and a rebuilt brick chimney situated between the right bays. The house is one storey with an attic and consists of four bays. The ground floor showcases irregular barred wooden casements, and the central bays feature gabled eaves-line dormers with three-light wooden casements. There are two entries to the rear in lean-to extensions.
