Description
32 Witts End is a Grade II listed house that was originally a pair of cottages, dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. The building has a timber-framed structure with substantial sections, featuring red brick infill and some areas covered in colourwashed render. It has a half-hipped clay tile roof and is one storey high with attics, arranged in a four-room plan, with the gable end facing the road.
A later weatherboarded addition extends from the southwest elevation. On the northeast elevation, there are four 2-light casement windows on the ground floor and two eyebrow dormers with 2-light casements in the attic. All of these windows are 20th-century replacements with leaded lights. The left side has a part-glazed door within a 20th-century brick surround, while the right side features a plank door. A red brick central ridge stack is also present.
