Description
Witts End Close is a house, formerly subdivided, dating from the late 16th century. It features substantial timber-framed construction with red brick infill and a hipped clay tile roof. The building has a three-room plan, is two storeys high with attics, and includes four three-light casement windows on the ground floor, two three-light casements, four single lights, and one two-light casement on the first floor. The attic has a gabled dormer with a casement window. Some windows have leaded lights, while others have glazing bars. There is a plank door beneath a gabled bracketed hood. A substantial brick ridge stack serves two rooms on the left-hand side and has a moulded base and cornice, while there is a red brick external stack on the right-hand end wall.
