Description
Nos. 63 and 65 on High Street are a pair of cottages dating from the 17th century, with some alterations. They are constructed with a timber frame, featuring whitewashed brick infill and a rendered plinth. The left gable has been rebuilt in whitewashed brick. The cottages have a 20th-century tile roof that is half-hipped on the left side, and there is a later brick chimney at the rear. The buildings are 1½ storeys high and consist of two wide bays. The ground floor has 3-light barred wooden casements, with a similar 2-light casement in the left bay just below the eaves, and a 3-light wooden casement in a semi-dormer on the right. Each bay has a 20th-century door located to the right.
