Description

This is an early 19th-century cottage, with later alterations in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with red brick dressings. The roof is tiled with pantiles, featuring brick coped gables, brick gable stacks, and decorated brick eaves. The two-storey and attic cottage has a three-bay front. A central doorway has an overlight, a wooden lintel, and a panelled door. This doorway is flanked by single plain sash windows; above these are three further plain sashes, all with margin lights and wooden lintels. Two raking dormers sit above the roofline, each with a plain sash window and margin lights.
