Description

Rose Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage, with alterations in the mid-19th century. It is located on the south-east side of Church Lane, Reepham. The cottage is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, with some red brick detailing. It has a pantile roof, with a red brick gable on the left-hand side and a single ridge stack. The main facade is single-storey with a garret, extending five bays including a mid-19th-century bay to the right. A lobby entrance is located on the left, featuring a doorway with a segmental head and a partially glazed door. This doorway is flanked by a single timber sash window with a casement to the left, a sliding sash to the right, and a further sliding sash window. All windows have brick segmental heads.
