Description
Buckingham Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage that was altered in the early 19th century. It is constructed of uncoursed limestone rubble and features an artificial stone slate roof with stone stacks. The cottage has two storeys and four bays. The doorway, located in the second bay from the left, has a wooden lintel, a plank door, and a 20th-century timber hood. To the left of the doorway are two three-light windows with 18th or 19th-century wooden lintels and 20th-century casements, with two similar windows on the right. The first floor also has a mix of two and three-light windows. Inside, there are early 18th-century partition chamfered beams and studs, along with an early 19th-century staircase.
