Description

Ivy Cottage is a cottage built around 1720. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and has a stone slate roof, with stone and brick stacks. The building is L-shaped, two storeys high, and has two bays. On the ground floor, there are two sash windows with wooden lintels, while the upper floor features two 20th-century casement windows, also with wooden lintels. At the rear, there is a left-side extension from the 18th century, which is two storeys high and has three bays, along with a 20th-century doorway. Inside, there is an open fireplace that includes a bread oven.
