Description

Rose Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage with alterations from the 19th century. It is timber-framed and plastered, with painted brick and limestone rubble construction. The roof is thatched and has red brick end stacks. The cottage is a long, single-storey range with an attic, featuring a tumbled brick parapet gable facing the street. It has two ground-floor three-light casement windows and a 20th-century door, alongside two eyebrow casement windows in the attic. Inside, there is an open hearth and boxed ceiling beams.
