Description

This is an early 19th century cottage, originally part cottage and part shop. It is built of red brick with pantile roofs, and has a single gable and a single ridge brick stack. The eaves are dentilated. The cottage is two storeys high and four bays wide. On the right-hand side is a large fixed glazing bar window, which was originally a shop window. To the left of this is a plank door, followed by a three-light window, and then another plank door. All openings are topped with wooden lintels. Above these is a tall fixed glazing bar window to the left, and a smaller glazing bar sliding sash window to the right.
