Description
The Butcher's Arms is a public house located on Navenby High Street, dating from the mid 18th century and altered in the mid 19th century. The building is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and features a slate roof that has one single and one triple rendered ridge stack. It has a moulded ashlar plinth, a first floor band, and an eaves cornice, along with flush ashlar quoins.
The structure is two stories high and has seven bays, with the central three bays slightly projecting. The original central doorway has been replaced by a window, while to the right there is a doorway in an original window opening, featuring a 20th-century door and a boarded overlight. To the left of the central bay is a single window, and there are two more windows on either side. Above the central blind opening, there are three windows on each side. All openings have plain raised ashlar surrounds, and all windows are plain sashes.
