Description

No 2 High Street is a house built in 1810. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and features a pantile roof with ashlar coped gables and two brick gable stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The central doorway has a 20th-century door with a rectangular overlight, and it is flanked by single glazing bar sash windows. Above the doorway, there are three similar sash windows. All openings are topped with ashlar wedge lintels. A datestone on the north gable is inscribed with 'R Daubney. 1810'.
