Description

The Post Office is a detached cottage, part of which is used as a shop. It is probably from the 18th century and features rubble stone walls and a thatched roof, with one stone end stack. The building has two storeys. On the ground floor, there is a central 20th-century legged door and two casement windows with glazing bars, all set under stone arches. The first floor also has two casement windows with glazing bars. There is a lower, single-storey section on the west side that is used as a shop and has a stone slate roof, along with a part-glazed panelled door and a window with glazing bars. The building was under repair at the time of the survey in 1984.
