Description
Knowle Farm House, including the front boundary wall, is a former farmhouse that appears to date from the early to mid-19th century but likely has earlier origins. The building features rubble stone walls with brick dressings and a hipped slate roof, along with a plastered stack positioned off centre. It is two storeys tall and has a panelled door set within a timber porch that has a curved roof. Both the ground and first floors contain three double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, and there is one additional casement window with glazing bars on the ground floor. Inside, the main ground floor room includes a fireplace with a bread oven. The front boundary wall is made of rubble stone with rough coping and is likely contemporary with the house.
