Description
Knowle Cottage is a detached cottage, likely built in the early 18th century, with a westward extension added in the 20th century. The cottage features rubble stone walls and a thatched roof, which is hipped at the west end and includes a catslide extension. There is a stone stack at the east end of the building. It stands two storeys tall, with the original section having three windows on the ground floor and two on the first floor, all fitted with 20th-century PVC casements. The 20th-century extension includes a ledged door set within a timber porch that has a curved roof. The ground floor of the extension has one casement window with glazing bars, while the first floor features one similar casement and another in a dormer.
