Little Thatch is a detached cottage dating from the 18th century, with a 20th-century extension. The building is constructed of stone rubble with a roughcast cob first floor and features a thatched roof with hipped ends and eyebrow eaves. It has one storey and an attic. The original house has a two-window range, with a one-window 20th-century extension to the right (east). The cottage includes 19th and 20th-century casements with glazing bars and a plank door located to the left of centre. The 20th-century extension features a two-storey weatherboarded porch, and there is a chimney stack at the ridge, positioned off centre.
