Description

The garden wall immediately south of Mothecombe House is an early 18th-century structure. It is made of red brick laid in Flemish bond and features brick saddle-back coping that ramps up to the house at both ends. The garden sits at a higher level than the surrounding ground, and the brick wall is constructed on a stone rubble plinth or retaining wall. This wall is listed as Grade II* due to its group value.
