Description
Nos 86, 87, and 88 are a range of three cottages, likely originally built as one house that was later extended and subdivided. The cottages date from the 17th century, with an extension added in the 18th century. They are constructed from rendered stone rubble and feature a thatched roof with gabled ends and eyebrow eaves. The building is two storeys high and has a long façade with seven windows. The windows are 19th and 20th century two-light casements with glazing bars. There are three 20th century glazed doors with slated hoods. A large external chimney stack, which has set offs, is located to the left of centre on the front wall, while rebuilt brick chimney stacks are found at the gable ends. Nos 86 and 87 are likely the original 17th century house, while No 88 is the 18th century extension.
