SX 64 NW HOLBETON MOTHECOMBE 10/91 29/3/60 Nos 89 and 90 (Estate Nos)

GV II

Pair of cottages situated at right angles to road. C17 or early C18. Plastered stone rubble and cob. Thatched roof with gabled and hipped ends, and eyebrow eaves. Two storeys. Long four-window range. C19 and C20 casements with glazing bars C20 slate hood over right hand doorway. No 90 facing opposite elevation has eaves of thatch swept down over doorway to form hood. Rebuilt brick chimney stacks at ridge and gable end and another with set-offs on south west corner at road end.
