Description

Manor Farm Cottages are a pair of cottages dating from the 17th century, with restoration carried out in the 19th century. They are constructed from coursed and squared rubble, with some ashlar stonework, and feature coped verges and thatched roofs, along with 19th-century brick stacks. The cottages are single storey with an attic and have a layout of 2:3 bays. They include 2 and 3-light casement windows, each with a single horizontal glazing bar. Cottage No. 2 has brick cills and wooden lintels, and the eaves rise above the attic windows. There are two door openings with plank doors, one of which includes a glazed light.
