Description

A pair of cottages dating to the 18th century, located in Hawkchurch. The cottages are constructed of stone rubble and have a thatched roof with gabled ends and eyebrow dormers. They are two storeys high and feature a long, four-window front. The windows are mainly 19th and 20th century casements, some with multiple panes and glazing bars. Two 20th-century glazed porches have been added. The end and ridge chimney stacks are rebuilt in brick. A rear outshut is attached to No. 1 cottage and has a slate roof.
