Description

A pair of cottages dating from the 18th century, situated in Lillingstone Lovell. They are constructed of rubble stone with timber lintels over the openings. The roofs are thatched, featuring eyebrows over the upper windows and brick chimneys positioned centrally and flanking the ridge. The cottages are one-and-a-half storeys high, each with a double-fronted design and a central boarded door. Number 18 retains old barred wooden casements on the ground floor, while the attic window has a 20th-century barred casement. Number 19 has similar windows. A central projection, thatched and round, incorporates an old oven.
