Description

Two attached cottages, dating from the 18th century, with a possible earlier core. The cottages have rubble stone walls which have been rendered and painted white. They have thatched roofs with gable ends. Rebuilt chimneys are located at the left party wall and between numbers 35 and 37. The cottages are one-and-a-half storeys in height, with a total of four windows (two per cottage). These are wooden casement windows, two- and three-light, with glazing bars and wooden sills. There are two eyebrow dormers on each cottage. The front door of number 35 is a central six-panelled door, with a thatched porch canopy supported by wooden posts. Number 37 has a central glass-panelled door, a later 20th-century addition, and a gable end on the north side.
