Description
No. 6 High Street is an attached cottage, originally two separate cottages, dating from the early 19th century. The building features flint rubble walls with brick dressings and quoins, topped with a slate roof. There are rendered stacks at the left-hand gable and a ridge stack located left of center. The cottage is two storeys high and has three windows, which are sashes with thin glazing bars and stone cills. The door on the right side of the ground floor has a semi-circular brick archway above it, leading to a flush-panel door with two top lights and a blind fanlight with glazing bars above. The left side of the ground floor has a plank door and a glazed door from the 20th century.
