Description
This is a late 17th-century cottage, with later 20th-century replacement windows and restoration work. It is constructed of banded flint and chalk block, with chalk cob walling to the upper storey. The roof is thatched, featuring a catslide slope on the left-hand side and a gable end to the right. Brick stacks have been renewed, one at the centre of the ridge and one at the right-hand gable. The cottage is two storeys high on the left-hand side, under the catslide. It has two and three-light wooden casement windows with glazing bars and wooden sills, set beneath concrete lintels. A 20th-century plank front door has a top light and is accessed by four steps with a handrail.
