Description
Manor Farm Cottages is a row of cottages that were originally farm buildings, located near the site of a former manor house. They date back to the 18th century and have been altered over time. The cottages are constructed from rubble stone and feature cambered brick arches over the ground floor windows and above blocked openings, with moulded brick eaves and a tiled roof. The building is two storeys high and consists of six bays. The end bays have blocked cart entries. The ground floor includes irregular wooden casements and doors in the two central bays and the left-hand bay. On the first floor, there are four 3-light casements in the central bays and a single casement in the left-hand bay. The roof is hipped with stacks at the ends of the ridge. There is a range of farm buildings attached at right angles to the rear, which has a rubble stone wall to the west, a brick wall to the east, and a tiled roof. The cottages are included for their group value.
