Description
Lillingstone House is a house built in the early 19th century for the Robarts family. It is constructed of yellow brick with stone cill courses and features a hipped slate roof. The house has a deep wooden eaves cornice supported by brackets and rendered stacks. It is two storeys high, and the west front has six bays of barred sash windows, each with sliding louvred shutters. The two central bays project slightly and are adorned with a projecting stone Doric portico on the ground floor. This portico is supported by four columns and includes an entablature, sash windows on the sides, and a central six-panelled studded door topped with a large rectangular fanlight.
