Description

Church Cottage is a detached house that dates from around the 18th century or earlier. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a thatched roof with gabled ends. The building has two storeys and the north-west front faces the churchyard. It has a two-window range with sash windows that include glazing bars. The central doorway is framed by a reeded doorcase and is accompanied by a porch supported by columns, which has later glazing. There are two brick chimney stacks located at the ridge. The south-east side of the house is rendered and includes a short gabled wing that creates an L-shaped plan, along with a late 19th-century gabled wooden porch.
