Description

This is an 18th-century terraced cottage located in Hawkchurch. It is constructed of stone rubble with brick quoins. The steeply pitched roof is covered with asbestos slates, featuring gabled ends and corrugated asbestos cladding at the rear. The cottage has two storeys and a four-window front. The windows are late 19th-century casements, with two and three lights. A plank door is positioned to the left, slightly off-centre, and has a 20th-century hood over it. Rendered chimney stacks rise from the gable ends. The interior features a fireplace with a stop-chamfered bressummer.
