Description

NORTH STREET 1. 972 (West Side) No 37 (Lindenau School) SU 8605 SW 2/22 5.7.50. II GV 2. C18. 2 storeys and attic. Continuous frontage with No 36 but with much higher ridge line. Red tiled roof; 2 dormers with segmental heads. 2 window bays. Eaves cornice with modillions. Red brick. 2 storey bay projection of 3 sash windows on the left. All windows in wide frames in flat arches with rubbed voussoirs and keystones over. All glazing bars intact. Shaped aprons below all windows. Good doorway with Doric columns, and pediment. Door in reveals; door with 6 fielded panels; semi-circular fanlight with Gothic divisions.
