Description
59 and 60 North Street are 18th-century buildings that stand two storeys tall with an attic. They share the same height at the front as the adjacent No 58, although No 59 has a higher ridge line. Each building features three dormers and two windows. The exterior is cemented, and both buildings have sash windows. No 59 has sash windows with flush boxes, but the glazing bars are missing. In contrast, No 60 has sash windows set in reveals, with the glazing bars intact and grooved window blinds. The ground floor has 20th-century plate-glass shop fronts. Nos 50 to 63, along with The Ship Hotel and No Guildhall Street, form a group with these buildings.
