Description
This is a pair of early 18th-century houses located on North Street. They are three storeys high with a symmetrical arrangement of three windows. The houses have gabled red tile roofs with brick stacks at each end. A coved cornice runs along the top of the facade. The exterior is red brick with two horizontal string courses. The windows are sash windows with flush boxes set within flat arches, featuring rubbed brick voussoirs and retaining their original glazing bars. A shared entrance features Doric pilasters supporting a common entablature and pediment, leading to six-panelled doors. Numbers 35 to 49 on North Street are grouped together.
