NORTH STREET 1. 972 (West Side) No 40 (Fernleigh) SU 8605 SW 2/24 II* GV 2. Early C19. 3 storeys with extension on each side consisting of 1 storey and 1 window. Cleft flints set in surround of sharp flints arranged edgewise, with yeilow brick dressings. Large cornice with modillions. Porch with Doric columns, pediment and semi-circular fanlight. 6 panelled door in reveals; upper 4 panels cut away and glazed.
