It features a double hipped tiled roof with tiled ridges and a small brick dentilled cornice just below the eaves. The front is made of red brick and has four windows on each floor. The windows are sash types set in reveals with flat arches above, supported by rubbed brick voussoirs, and the glazing bars are intact. The attic storey has smaller windows.

Behind this doorway is a six-panel moulded door set in panelled reveals, topped by a semi-circular fanlight with tracery. Prebendal School House is part of a group with Nos 52 to 56.
