Description

Clarence House, located at 28 Fisher Street, is an 18th-century building that stands two stories high with an attic and features three windows and three dormers. It is constructed of red brick and has a modillion eaves cornice. The first floor retains its original glazing bars, while the ground floor has been renewed. The entranceway is adorned with Doric pilasters, a pediment, a segmental fanlight, and a six-panel fielded door. The roof is tiled. Clarence House is part of a group that includes Nos 22 to 34 (even) Fisher Street, Nos 1 to 5 (odd) Church Street, and Nos 53 to 57 (odd) High Street.
