Description

This is an 18th-century building, comprising two properties, located on North Street. It is two storeys and has an attic, with a height similar to the adjacent property at number 31. The building has five windows and a red tiled hipped roof. The exterior is stuccoed and features long and short quoins, a stringcourse above the ground floor, and a cornice with modillions. The sash windows are set in wide frames within flat arches, each with a keystone, and retain their original glazing bars. There are three small shop windows on the ground floor, each set in a fluted frame. A doorway with Doric columns and a pediment is centrally positioned, featuring a semi-circular fanlight above a six-panelled door. A flat-arched doorway is located at the north end, also with a keystone above a six-panelled door and a rectangular fanlight. Nos. 27 to 32, and 32A, form a group.
