Description

NORTH STREET 1. 972 (East Side) No 68 SU 8604 NW 4/40 II GV 2. Early C19. 3 storeys. 3 windows. Stuccoed. Parapet. Stringcourse above ground floor. Sash windows in reveals in flat arches; glazing bars intact (formerly cornices with large consoles above first floor windows). Semi-circular arched doorway with moulded cornice over at southern end. Door in reveals with segmental fanlight with tracery over 6 panel moulded door with oval and Greek Cross panels flanked by slender columns. To the north of this, C20 plate-glass shop front and door.

No 68 with garden wall on north side, Nos 69 to 72 (consec) and No 70A form a group.
