Description

28 High Street is a late 18th-century building constructed of stucco. It stands three storeys high and features four double-hung sash windows set within reveals. The ground floor is distinguished by narrow pilasters, a shop window on the right, and a continuous entablature that projects over the shop and door. There is a band at window sill level on the second floor, and the building is topped with a parapet. The windows retain their glazing bars. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 17 to 33 on the same street.
