Description
29 and 29A High Street are early 19th-century buildings constructed of yellow brick. They stand three storeys tall and feature four double-hung sash windows set in reveals, with one window blocked. Each window has sills and flat arches, along with glazing bars. The ground floor includes a plinth and two segmental-headed brick panels, each containing one window. There are two doorways with four-panel doors and fanlights, both set in reveals and topped with wooden lintels. The central doorway is round-headed, featuring a two-fold six-panel door and a semi-circular fanlight above. The middle window on the second floor has a wooden mullion, and the building is topped with a parapet. Nos 17 to 33 High Street form a group with these buildings.
