Description

Bridge House is an 18th-century building located at No 22 East Hill. It is three storeys high, constructed of red brick on a stone base with galleting. The roof is hipped and covered with tiles, featuring a moulded wooden eaves cornice. The façade includes five sash windows with intact glazing bars, with the central window bay projecting slightly. Access to the entrance is provided by five steps with a handrail. The doorcase is adorned with pilasters, a pediment, panelled reveals, and a door that has five fielded panels. Bridge House, along with the garden wall to the west of No 22 and the buildings at Nos 24 to 30 (even), forms a group.
