Description
No 7 East Hill is a Grade II listed house, part of a pair built in the 18th century. This three-storey building is constructed of red brick and features a distinctive wooden eaves cornice with modillions shaped like horses' hooves. The façade includes three sash windows with missing glazing bars, and there are two bay windows on the ground and first floors, with the ground floor bay being larger. The doorways, which are slightly off-center and accessed by five steps, are adorned with pilasters, projecting cornices, rectangular fanlights, and six-panel doors, four of which have been altered to include glazing. This house is part of a group that includes Nos 5 to 9 (odd), the wall to the southeast of No 9, No 11, and the wall to the southeast of No 11.
